The AAKOMA project empowers Youth of Color through mental health advocacy, research, and resources. They reached out when moving to a new office space in Alexandria. When youth came to the office, they wanted them to be visibly reflected as soon as they walked in the door. Through a collaborative design process, we included visible youth diversity, joy and celebration, while including the client’s signature colors and values.
