Burque Licks exterior, designed and installed by OKE (Albuquerque, 2025)
Afer the interior of Burque Licks was completed in January, the owners reached out again to invite OKE back to paint the exterior. The goal was to have an aesthetic of ice cream without actually being painted ice cream, while using the same palette as the interior - and to complete the mural in a week, on a tight deadline. OKE hired local artist Brimber to assist, and facilitated a community paint day complete with pizza. The result is stunning, and an amazing place for selfies.
